Term time Lessons
Private Classes:
Our focussed approach results in an incredible learning curve as your children benefit from the maximum amount of attention from the teachers. We offer both one-to-one and two-to-one classes. One to One (private) Lessons: These offer an individual approach to suit your child's confidence and technique level. An intense, yet individually tailored lesson that will help your child progress quickly, while learning at their own pace. Two-to-One Lessons: With two children and one instructor. 2:1 lessons are perfect for those children who have progressed enough to share a lesson with another child. We will match the level and individual style of each child to enable them to make the most of their lessons together. If your child enjoys a bit of competition this could be the lesson for them. |
Development Squads:
Once your child has mastered all of the strokes they can move on to our squad sessions for more advanced swimmers.. Squad sessions are part coaching, part teaching lessons in which the children are taught how to swim far and fast! These squads consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of 6 kids. They work in their own lane so while they are covering a greater distance and the lean is more towards coaching rather than teaching, by keeping the numbers of each squad small we are still able to deliver the technical advice that can be missed in larger squad classes. We are proud to count several borough and schools champions among our current members! |
What's best for my child, 1:1 or 2:1?:
For absolute beginners and younger children 1:1 is usually the best option. The teacher will be able to focus solely on your child and for children who haven’t yet mastered swimming a short distance or who are nervous in the water the reassurance and support of having their own teacher can make all the difference. Children who are happy and confident will progress much faster. Once they reach level 2a (seahorse level) and are able to swim a short distance unaided we can switch them to a 2:1 lesson by pairing them up with another child their age and level.
